WiiRadio Skinning engine
I receive a lot of emails from people about being able to change the look of WiiRadio. The biggest question/suggestion I get is about displaying more stations.
Over the weekend I started working on the skinning engine for WiiRadio. This will allow you to customize the look of WiiRadio. I’m hoping to have a build with this feature in the SVN pretty soon. If you’re interested in creating a skin for WiiRadio then keep checking this thread as I’ll be adding information on how you can skin (When I get the time).
The next release of WiiRadio will contain at least one more skin that’s more inline with the look and feel of the Wii system menu.
If you really can’t wait and want to start skinning now then send me an email and I’ll see about explaining what you need to do.
Game Plugin Ideas For WiiRadio 0.5?
I love listening to music, that’s why I created WiiRadio. But what’s even better is playing games while listening to music!
I’ve decided to try and complete a few game plugins for WiiRadio v0.5. I’ve already thrown together a simple space shooter game and added to the SVN.
Currently I’m looking for game ideas. If you have an idea for a simple game that could be added as a plugin to WiiRadio then please post it here!
WiiRadio 0.4 Released
I finally got the time to finish up and release WiiRadio 0.4. It contains a lot of fixes, stream playback should be much smoother now. Also three more visuals have been added.
Unfortunately I did not have a chance to finish everything. There are still outstanding requests and issues I’m working on such as widescreen support and a less laggy cursor.
WiiRadio v0.4 Progress
I’ve been working on bug fixes, feature requests and additions for the next version of WiiRadio. I’m shooting for version 0.4 to be released within the next week or so.
For now here’s a screen shot of a new visual I’m working on.
