I’m hoping to get another version of WiiRadio (v0.6) released in the next few weeks. Here’s a quick summary of the improvements :-
.:: Icecast support in browser. ::.
.:: Widescreen option ::.
.:: Search improvements – can search for genre, playing song, station or connect to any stream via IP or web address ::.
Cool widescreen!!!
good thing that there will be Icecast support. I was testing it out and as of now, streaming mp3 of Icecast sound fast and has the audio ‘cutting’.
Widecreen support is also a great thing to see (don’t like to see it in stretch-o-vision on my tv) xD
nice i have a question can u make latins radio pleases for all the spanisch people thx
It would be nice to be able to select the visualization to keep it on there.
I was wondering why they appear so slow when there were vistualizatins for winamp 8 years ago on older technology? Also how can we turn off that little graph in the player? Perhaps there will be also the ability to set sound presets? Hall, Rock, Concert etc…
Thank you! The new skin looks much better than the old one!
i love this player…
i’m using this one allmost everyday now for streaming 3fm.
i’ve put some streams of my own favourite radio channels in the playlist.
works perfect!
THANX!
Hi there, just wanted to say, that i love your player and the new skin used in Version 0.5. Can’t wait for 0.6 and the Icecast support!
Could you make this version with the option to exit the system menu, or a separate version that defaults to the system menu? I wanted to add a forwarder channel of this too my wii menu, but doing so causes my wii to freeze whenever I exit the program.
If there’s already a way to change Wiiradio to default to the wii menu, could someone let me know how?
I’m not sure if it already filters out AAC from the shoutcast list. I sometimes hit streams that lock it up. I’m guessing it’s an AAC stream not mp3 being shoutcast has both in the stream lists from what I’ve seen.
I also have a pls and m3u file that will not show in the playlist list of wiiradio. The URL used by the station is in a slightly different format to most stream URLs. http://xx.xx.xx.xx:80/hardradio.mp3
Most stream URLs I’ve seen only provide IP:port or DNS. This is the only one I’ve seen that points to a file to stream. Works fine in Winamp, Itunes, Quicktime player, and realplayer (as RAM file). For whatever reason, the pls file doesn’t show up in my playlist at all. I’ve tried both extension types created with Winamp (pls and m3u) to no avail.
Is there some other spot I have to edit after dropping the pls file into the pls folder? I’ve tried both version 0.4 and 0.5.
I really enjoy Wiiradio and am very happy that you have made this app for all to use. The new visualizations kick ***.
Can you paste the contents of the playlist so I can look for the issue. Thanks.
