WiiRadio 0.7 Update

It’s been quite a while since I’ve officially released a version of WiiRadio. Fear not I’ve been hard at work and should have a new version out before Christmas.

New features in the forthcoming version will include:

  • Stream Ripping
  • Local playback of MP3 (seems necessary if we now rip)
  • Local Media Browser for USB/SD
  • New visuals and support for 3rd party visuals
  • Updated skins with scripting support
  • Album art
  • Official Releases for Windows, Linux and possibly Mac (Please contact me if you could help with a Mac build)
  • A whole bunch of smaller changes you’ll notice

    Have you tried creating a playlist and putting it on the SD manually?

    Sorry Due to the vast changes for the next version a little update is not possible to fix this right now:( My WiiDev has not had much time lately.

    Hi how can I make a manual playlist? The server stopped working and the only way I could get it to work was to go to my playlist and it would play the stations I had chosen before, but thinking that something was wrong I removed and replaced the program which deleted everything, now I can’t play anything :-( Can’t wait for the new version, please advise on how to create playlist I beg of you, I need good music in my life!!!

    Playlists are in the .pls format. e.g.

    [playlist]
    numberofentries=1
    File1=http://91.121.77.64:8050
    Title1=(#1 – 1/1) 24/7 A STATE OF TRANCE SETS FROM ARMIN VAN BUUREN – MORE – NON STOP THE BEST TRANCE
    Length1=-1
    Version=2
